As a key member of our Quantum Core team, you'll collaborate with Nobel Prize-winning physicists and industry pioneers to architect fault-tolerant quantum networks, develop error correction protocols, and pioneer hybrid quantum-classical algorithms. You'll shape the hardware and software infrastructure that will power breakthroughs in drug discovery, climate modeling, and artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with >1000 qubit capacity
- Develop error correction frameworks achieving <10^-9 logical error rates
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing interfaces for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for pharmaceutical and materials science R&D
- Architect quantum networking protocols for distributed quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define superconducting/photonic qubit specifications
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography transitions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review on quantum systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering or photonic systems
- Demonstrated experience leading complex technical projects with cross-functional teams
- Patents in quantum computing or related fields preferred
