Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits and error-correction protocols for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures
- Research and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic systems for critical infrastructure
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum algorithms into machine learning pipelines
- Develop simulation frameworks for quantum chemistry and materials science applications
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction, QED, and topological quantum computing
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and HPC optimization
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields (IEEE Nature, Science, etc.)
- Clearance for DoD/NASA quantum security projects (or ability to obtain)
