Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum security protocol implementation for financial and healthcare sectors
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum simulation projects
- Drive open-source quantum software initiatives
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in Austin's innovation ecosystem
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of designing quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Experience with superconducting qubit fabrication processes
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
- Ability to secure $1M+ research grants from NSF/NIH
