Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Optimize quantum circuit architectures for cloud computing environments
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic processors)
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum systems with 99.9%+ coherence rates
- Create technical documentation for quantum API specifications
- Partner with government agencies on quantum encryption standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing research or development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum information theory
- Proficiency in superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenic systems
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction protocols
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures (HPC)
- Security clearance preferred for government collaboration projects
