Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics, cryptography, and AI
- Develop error-correction architectures for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Create quantum-resistant security protocols for enterprise clients
- Present research findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Summit
- Secure partnerships with quantum hardware providers like Rigetti and IonQ
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Proficiency with quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
- Track record of securing quantum research grants
