Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation applications
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum systems operating at 10+ qubit coherence
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum-classical hybrid computing integration
- Develop error-correction protocols for practical quantum advantage
- Translate theoretical quantum models into deployable hardware-software interfaces
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards
- Publish peer-reviewed research in quantum computing breakthroughs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum circuit design or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Experience securing DoD or NSF quantum research grants
