Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit quantum networks
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in quantum algorithm optimization
- Architect quantum cloud infrastructure with 99.999% uptime SLAs
- Patent novel quantum hardware/software integration methodologies
- Advise C-suite executives on quantum technology adoption roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years designing quantum systems with 50+ qubit implementations
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum coherence
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Track record of securing $10M+ in quantum computing grants
- Experience mentoring quantum research teams
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects preferred
