Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit coherence capabilities
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for cryptography, material science, and AI
- Partner with hardware teams to engineer cryogenic control systems
- Author whitepapers on quantum supremacy benchmarks and implementation roadmaps
- Mentor quantum engineering teams while maintaining hands-on technical oversight
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years quantum architecture design with 50+ qubit system deployment
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing breakthroughs
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization tools
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
