Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for industrial optimization problems
- Lead quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.999% fidelity
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic system integration and control engineering
- Translate complex quantum principles into actionable business applications for Fortune 500 partners
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and speak at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction systems
- Proficiency with Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate quantum theory into commercial applications
