Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computation
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Translate quantum algorithms into practical industry applications
- Secure $50M+ in government and private quantum research grants
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Summit
- Patent at least 3 novel quantum methodologies annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum hardware/software (IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Expertise in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Successful track record securing quantum research funding
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems below 10mK
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
