Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for AI optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum-AI prototyping and validation
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Secure federal grants and industry partnerships for quantum-AI initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum-AI standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum computing
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) systems
- Proven ability to secure research funding ($500K+)
