Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for next-gen AI systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-optimized neural network architectures
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier scientific journals and conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum computing and AI implementation gaps
- Identify and solve critical bottlenecks in quantum AI scalability and error correction
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grants for frontier research initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our patent portfolio
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, tensor networks, and deep learning frameworks
- Proven track record of publications in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave) and Python/C++
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research grants
