Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural networks leveraging Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims on Honeywell and IBM processors
- Collaborate with pharmaceutical teams to accelerate molecular simulation workflows
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in top-tier journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction techniques
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals or arXiv quantum sections
- Proficiency in TensorFlow/PyTorch for hybrid model development
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with AWS Braket or Azure Quantum cloud platforms
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- US citizenship required for government contract compliance
