Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era computational challenges
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits optimized for AI workloads
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at global conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
- Mentor PhD researchers and shape the quantum-AI curriculum at partner universities
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics (with 3+ years postdoc experience)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or AI optimization (arXiv/IEEE citations)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and TensorFlow Quantum frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction and NISQ-era hardware constraints
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research funding
- Strong background in tensor networks and quantum neural networks
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters (HPC) and GPU acceleration
