Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical neural networks for pattern recognition and optimization
- Develop error-corrected quantum algorithms for unsupervised learning and anomaly detection
- Lead experimental validation on quantum processors using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum architectures tailored for AI workloads
- Author breakthrough research papers for IEEE Quantum and Nature Machine Intelligence
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum machine learning methodologies
- Secure $1M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development with superconducting or photonic systems
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and tensor network simulations
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, TensorFlow Quantum, and C++ for quantum control systems
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and quantum annealing platforms
