Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-AI integration frameworks
- Author peer-reviewed publications on quantum computational complexity
- Optimize quantum circuits for error correction and scalability
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards
- Prototype quantum neural networks using IBM Quantum and D-Wave systems
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with deep understanding of linear algebra and probability theory
- Publication record in quantum information science or top-tier AI conferences
- Experience with NISQ hardware optimization techniques
- Strong background in machine learning architectures (transformers, GNNs)
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
