Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical ML architectures for optimization problems
- Develop quantum neural networks and variational algorithms for real-world applications
- Collaborate with physicists to translate quantum hardware constraints into algorithmic innovations
- Lead open-source contributions to quantum AI frameworks like PennyLane and Qiskit
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive technical strategy for quantum AI initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE, quantum walks) and error correction techniques
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Strong publication record in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Experience with NISQ hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical implementations
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
