Responsibilities
- Provide tier-1 technical support and troubleshooting for internal hardware and software issues via phone and email.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all support tickets and system updates in our CRM platform.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of new workstations and peripherals.
- Conduct basic training sessions for new employees regarding company software and security protocols.
- Collaborate with the full-time IT team to resolve complex technical challenges and implement solutions.
- Ensure all IT assets are securely accounted for, properly labeled, and managed.
- Monitor system performance and report any anomalies to the senior engineering team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking fundamentals, and operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace if required for remote duties.
- Proven reliability and a professional demeanor in previous customer service or support roles.
