Responsibilities
- Client Support: Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients via phone, email, and chat to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair computer peripherals, printers, network connectivity issues, and operating system errors.
- Software Installation: Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and business applications.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all support tickets, resolutions, and client interactions.
- Hardware Management: Perform routine hardware inventory checks, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
- Customer Communication: Educate clients on best practices for cybersecurity and system usage.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in technical support, IT help desk, or customer service.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems; knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS) is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Availability: Ability to work a part-time schedule (e.g., 20-25 hours per week) including occasional evenings or weekends if needed.
