Responsibilities
- Oversee night shift warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving
- Train and supervise 10-15 warehouse associates on safety protocols and productivity standards
- Optimize workflow efficiency using WMS systems and lean methodologies
- Conduct daily safety audits and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with day shift and transportation teams
- Resolve operational issues and escalate critical concerns to management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse management experience with night shift exposure
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions
- Valid Virginia driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Experience with OSHA compliance and safety program implementation
