Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor 15+ night shift team members to optimize productivity and safety standards
- Implement inventory control protocols using WMS systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with day shift and transportation departments
- Conduct daily safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance across all warehouse zones
- Manage performance metrics including order fulfillment rates and labor efficiency
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate issues to senior leadership as needed
- Train staff on new equipment and process improvements during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse experience with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator credentials
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI reporting and process optimization
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities during high-pressure scenarios
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
