Responsibilities
- Oversee all nightly warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and shipping
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse associates during overnight shifts
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance across all activities
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency
- Manage inventory counts and resolve discrepancies using WMS systems
- Coordinate with day-shift supervisors for smooth operational transitions
- Train staff on new equipment, procedures, and compliance standards
- Generate daily performance reports and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse experience with 1+ years in supervisory role
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and make operational decisions
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
