Responsibilities
- Supervise 8-12 night shift staff, assigning tasks and maintaining workflow efficiency
- Conduct daily inventory audits and cycle counts using WMS systems
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Coordinate loading/unloading of trucks and optimize storage space utilization
- Train new hires on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Resolve operational issues and escalate concerns to management
- Generate nightly performance reports and productivity metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse experience with 1+ years in leadership role
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-shift handovers
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
