Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to internal staff and external clients during the night shift.
- Monitor server health, network traffic, and application performance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Resolve complex hardware and software issues, escalating critical incidents to the day team when necessary.
- Perform nightly backups, patch management, and system maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all incidents, resolutions, and system changes.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to enforce access controls and monitor for anomalies.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support or help desk environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve hardware malfunctions.
- Must be willing and able to work the night shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
