Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot critical technical issues during off-peak hours.
- Execute nightly backups, software updates, and security patches to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to document incidents and facilitate seamless handovers.
- Maintain and optimize network infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Respond to escalated tickets and provide high-level technical support to internal stakeholders.
- Conduct routine audits of system logs and access controls for security compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems engineering, IT support, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, server administration, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure preferred).
- Proven ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
