Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical operations during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Coordinate patient care with on-call physicians and specialists
- Implement emergency protocols and critical incident management
- Supervise nursing staff and ensure regulatory compliance
- Conduct quality audits and process improvements
- Document all critical events using electronic health records
- Maintain supply inventory and equipment readiness
Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN license in North Carolina
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience
- 1+ years supervisory/charge nurse experience
- BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
