Responsibilities
- Oversee nightly operations and coordinate team activities to meet production targets
- Train and mentor 10-15 team members on safety protocols and best practices
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Conduct quality control checks and resolve operational issues in real-time
- Prepare daily performance reports and communicate progress to senior management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with logistics department
Qualifications
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or logistics
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to work independently and make decisive judgment calls
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Valid forklift certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in inventory management software (SAP, Oracle)
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred
