Responsibilities
- Perform rigorous inspections of raw materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with company specifications and industry standards.
- Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments, including laser scanners, micrometers, and gauges.
- Document inspection results accurately in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and quality logs.
- Identify, isolate, and process non-conforming products to prevent defects from reaching the customer.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the day shift team to address quality trends and process improvements.
- Assist in training new hires on proper inspection techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Technical or Vocational certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or warehousing.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect subtle defects and anomalies.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high energy levels during night shifts.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory or warehouse software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate industrial environments.
