Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and precision
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
- Provide patient education and emotional support to families
- Participate in shift handovers with meticulous attention to detail
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
