Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures during night shift
- Perform vital sign monitoring and document patient records accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Coordinate with nursing staff for seamless patient care transitions
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Manage inventory and restock medical supplies
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced environment
- Night shift availability required (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical documentation
- Basic ECG and phlebotomy skills preferred
- Ability to remain alert and decisive during overnight hours
- Valid BLS certification
- Proficient in electronic health records systems
