Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote access during night hours.
- Monitor and maintain the health of local area networks (LAN), wireless networks, and server hardware to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Resolve complex hardware, software, and network incidents, escalating to Level 3 support when necessary.
- Perform nightly system backups, security patch management, and server maintenance tasks.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and actions taken accurately in the Service Desk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the morning shift team to hand over critical tickets and ensure seamless continuity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a significant plus.
- Proven experience in technical support, help desk, or customer service roles.
- Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently, stay focused, and adapt to changing priorities during night shifts.
