Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain server infrastructure, networks, and hardware systems during the night shift to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting to internal employees via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Perform routine system updates, patch management, and security backups outside of peak business hours.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues with minimal supervision.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in the IT ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to hand over critical alerts and pending tickets.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, Active Directory, and VPN configurations.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high attention to detail during night operations.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA) are a plus.
