Responsibilities
- Monitor & Maintain: Conduct 24/7 monitoring of server racks, cooling systems, and power distribution units (PDUs) to ensure optimal performance.
- Hardware Management: Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of server hardware, storage arrays, and network switches.
- Incident Response: Rapidly diagnose and resolve technical incidents during the night shift to minimize impact on business operations.
- Cleaning & Sanitation: Maintain a pristine, organized environment within the data center to comply with strict industry standards.
- Inventory Control: Manage and track spare parts and equipment inventory to ensure readiness for deployment.
- Documentation: Update logs and technical documentation regarding maintenance activities and system changes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a data center or IT support role.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with server hardware (Dell/HP), RAID configurations, and basic networking (TCP/IP, VLANs).
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a strong plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
