Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Administer medications and immunizations under physician supervision
- Perform vital signs and document patient information in EHR systems
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow efficiently
- Assist with basic lab tests and specimen processing
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant diploma or certificate from accredited program
- Current CPR certification and BLS credentials
- Ohio Medical Assistant registration (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
