Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage relationships with carriers, vendors, and clients in Chicago and Ohio regions.
- Monitor shipment status, resolve logistics bottlenecks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipping documentation.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to prioritize urgent orders and resolve delivery issues.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation coordination.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
