Are you ready to transcend classical computing? Aether Dynamics is seeking a visionary Lead Quantum Architect to spearhead our breakthrough initiatives for the 2026 roadmap. You will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical application, building the architectures that will define the next era of technology.
As we prepare to launch our next-generation quantum cloud infrastructure, we need a technical leader who can navigate the complexities of superconducting qubits and error correction. You will work directly with our CTO and R&D team to prototype systems that solve real-world problems with quantum supremacy.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable quantum circuit designs using industry-standard frameworks like Qiskit and Cirq.
- Lead a cross-functional team of physicists and software engineers to define the technical roadmap for 2026.
- Optimize quantum algorithms for noise reduction, error correction, and high-fidelity gate operations.
- Define the technical strategy for our on-premise and cloud-based quantum hardware integration.
- Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and benchmarking of quantum processors and simulators.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and scientific curiosity.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing, superconducting hardware, or quantum software development.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and quantum information theory.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and experience with quantum programming languages (e.g., Q#).
- Track record of publishing research or delivering high-impact technical projects.
