Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying emerging tech opportunities across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing proof-of-concepts and pilot programs for breakthrough technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to anticipate technological shifts and market disruptions
- Develop and manage innovation KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and ESG principles
- Present innovation strategies and progress to the executive board and key stakeholders
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate an intrapreneurial culture within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in strategic innovation roles within tech-forward industries
- Proven track record of launching successful future-tech initiatives (e.g., AI deployment, quantum applications)
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies with demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience influencing C-suite and board decisions
- Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in foresight methodologies and scenario planning
- Certifications in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CPSI) or technology strategy highly desirable
