Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive technologies with transformative potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-facing product visions
- Conduct horizon scanning to anticipate tech trends, regulatory shifts, and market disruptions
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive leadership and board members
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of speculative thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience scaling innovation labs within high-growth organizations
