Responsibilities
- Lead the Horizon 2026 Roadmap: Define the technical vision and architectural strategy for the 2026 release cycle, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- System Design & Engineering: Design and oversee the implementation of distributed microservices and edge-computing architectures capable of processing petabytes of data.
- Talent Development: Mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and security experts to integrate complex systems seamlessly.
- Scalability & Performance: Ensure all systems are built for scale, optimizing for high availability and low-latency performance in global markets.
- Risk Management: Identify potential technical debt and architectural risks early in the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Rust; extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- AI/ML Knowledge: Strong understanding of machine learning pipelines and neural network architectures.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, large-scale technical problems with elegant solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
