Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, aligning with global sustainability and digital sovereignty initiatives
- Lead moonshot projects in quantum-resistant cryptography and decentralized AI governance frameworks
- Establish innovation labs across North America to prototype next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and quantum computing pioneers
- Mentor a cohort of 'Future Architects' – our internal innovation accelerator program
- Report directly to the CTO on emerging tech disruption vectors and counter-strategies
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling ROI projections for board approval
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology innovation with 5+ years in C-suite or VP-level strategic roles
- Proven track record of launching exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, neuromorphic computing)
- Deep expertise in futures methodology and scenario planning for 2030+ horizons
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 tech journals
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/Go preferred) and quantum computing frameworks
- Experience securing federal grants for emerging tech initiatives ($10M+ portfolio)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology
