Key Responsibilities
As our Night Shift IT Specialist, you will be the first line of defense for our technical infrastructure. Your day will involve monitoring systems and resolving critical issues to ensure business continuity.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Monitor server logs and alert systems to identify potential outages before they impact users.
- Resolve password resets, account access issues, and network connectivity problems.
- Document all incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift team to hand over unresolved issues and ensure seamless workflow.
- Perform routine system backups and maintenance tasks during low-traffic hours.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a helpdesk role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Office 365.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- CompTIA A+ certification is a plus but not mandatory.
