Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hospital/clinic operations including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Develop and implement strategic administrative policies to improve patient flow and operational efficiency
- Manage departmental budgets, financial reporting, and procurement processes
- Lead cross-functional teams including clinical staff, technicians, and support personnel
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards
- Analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Serve as primary liaison between medical staff and executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive healthcare administration experience in acute care or outpatient settings
- Proven track record of managing multi-departmental operations and budgets
- Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations (HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission)
- Advanced proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Cerner certification a plus)
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work under pressure during emergency situations and high-volume periods
- SHRM-CAHPCM or ACHE certification preferred
