Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions (quantum AI, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Analyze global tech trends to identify billion-dollar opportunities and threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders using data-driven insights
- Manage innovation budgets exceeding $2M for experimental technology initiatives
- Forge strategic partnerships with leading research labs and emerging startups
- Document and evangelize future-tech frameworks across organizational departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching at least three disruptive technology initiatives
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AGI development, nanotechnology, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or D3.js
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Security clearance eligibility for handling sensitive next-gen R&D projects
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese for global partnership expansion
