Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional innovation labs with 20+ engineers and scientists
- Identify and patent emerging tech opportunities with $5M+ potential
- Present futuristic strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Partner with VC firms to scout acquisition targets in deep tech
- Develop ethical frameworks for disruptive technologies
- Manage $1.2M annual innovation budget across 3 R&D pillars
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic tech leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Published research in AI/quantum computing or biotech innovation
- Proven track record of launching category-defining products
- Expertise in futures forecasting technology adoption curves
- Strong network with DARPA, NASA, or major tech innovation labs
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ technical experts
- Certification in Quantum Computing or Neural Interface Design
