Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technology foresight frameworks mapping disruptive innovations to business opportunities
- Produce annual technology impact assessments and scenario planning documents
- Lead executive workshops on emerging tech adoption strategies and risk mitigation
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Translate complex technological concepts into actionable business strategies
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory developments affecting future deployments
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and investors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of successful long-term technology implementation
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFMP, CFP)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences and technical teams
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
- Experience with scenario planning tools and horizon scanning techniques
