Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 3-5 year strategic implications
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate futuristic concepts through pilot programs
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and technology analysts
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor global tech policy developments and regulatory impacts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business with futurism focus
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent strategic foresight training
