Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry forecasts
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, bio-AI, climate tech)
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence for futuristic tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional innovation initiatives with engineering and product teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Author thought leadership on technological disruption and future-proofing
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record in developing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong data modeling and market forecasting capabilities
- Executive communication skills for C-suite presentations
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
