Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 5-year technology foresight frameworks for emerging domains
- Lead quantum/neuro-interface prototyping projects with 10+ member teams
- Produce strategic white papers and roadmaps for C-suite stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate ethical implications of disruptive technologies
- Partner with academia (MIT, Stanford) on joint research initiatives
- Represent Horizon at global tech forums (WEF, Davos)
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Cognitive Neuroscience
- 8+ years in R&D with 3+ in strategic technology planning
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, bio-AI, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating concepts to commercial prototypes
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong background in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation
