Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.) and develop strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ market landscapes
- Architect technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives, identifying high-impact innovation opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into executable R&D initiatives
- Deliver executive briefings on technological disruption risks and opportunities to the Board of Directors
- Establish strategic partnerships with leading research institutions and tech pioneers
- Quantify ROI on emerging tech investments through scenario modeling and market analysis
- Mentor innovation teams on future-proofing methodologies and trendspotting techniques
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing successful 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, and emerging tech ecosystems
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP) or equivalent innovation methodology
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
