Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic vision roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for disruptive market shifts
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-facing technologies into core offerings
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging opportunities and threats
- Establish KPIs to track long-term strategic initiatives
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning company as futurist authority
- Manage innovation pipeline with 5-7 year development horizons
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend forecasting
- Portfolio demonstrating future-shaping projects or publications
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
